The March 2020 agreement on redistribution has expired and has not been revised due to slowing down redistribution requirements. The City and the unions agreed that there would be no change to the terms and conditions of employment of the currently deployed staff. This salary range is competitive with comparable police services. Final pay schedules will be negotiated between the City of Edmonton and the Edmonton Police Association. The Notley government has tried to reach agreements with the provincial unions with as little increase as possible, citing difficult economic conditions. A collective agreement has been ratified. The city is making progress in implementation. The EPS offers competitive salaries with all police departments in the country, paid on a graduated scale based on the duration of the trains.

The constable`s annual salary ranges from $69,107 to $112,427, but an annual advertising process allows you to move up to a higher rank. The base salary at any rank can be increased if the officer is working: collective bargaining between the association and the City of Edmonton.
